OUr services

What we do?

Our Capabilities

Our Capabilities

We provide turnkey consulting services for setting up large microalgal-based wastewater treatment plants for manufacturing sites, food processing units and municipal corporations. We have a lab facility at Kharghar Navi Mumbai were we conduct qualitative studies for exploring scientific feasibility on customer wastewater samples. We also have a pilot test-bed facility where we validate our process on customer wastewater samples before designing full-scale plants.

Our Capabilities

Our Capabilities

Our Capabilities

We take our customers through the entire "phase-gate" process wherein we develop, test, validate, design, engineer, execute, commission and then operationalize microalgae-based processes for our customer. Post project execution, we offer subject matter expertise (SME) services for operations guidance, product development & commercialization, and carbon studies on the project to explore carbon credits.

Our USPs

Our Capabilities

Our USPs

We are among the very few to have hands on experience in designing developing and scaling-up microalgae-based processes from laboratory to massive production scale facilities. We collaborate with expert vendors and technology players to help deliver complete commercial solutions to our customer. Integrating various unit operations and processes into a full-scale scheme which is both effective and economical is what makes our services attractive for our customers.

About Microalgae

Microalgae are the most primary photosynthetic organisms on the planet. Their smaller sizes, robust cell structure and an efficient photosynthesis apparatus make them the most efficient plants on the planet. Microalgae are present abundantly in nature and hence finding algae suitable for a given location should not be a challenge, thereby rendering a “Natural” process for effluent treatment. Because of these features they provide an interesting option for treatment of effluent streams that are rich in organic carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and most of the metals and minerals. The microalgae biomass generated out of this treatment process is rich in proteins, minerals, essential fats, antioxidants, and other pigments.

Microalgae-based effluent treatment can positively contribute towards mitigation of ill-effects from Climate Change by the virtue of being Sustainable, Circular, and Clean. By primarily relying on natural sunlight for photosynthesis-mediated degradation of pollutants from the effluent, this process scores high on Sustainability. By converting the waste organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and other nutrients, present in the effluent into nutritious, high-protein algal biomass with potential for use in the food, feed and fertilizer industry, this process also scores high on Circularity. Finally, by generating clean water and releasing pure oxygen to the environment, this is essentially a Clean-technology option for effluent abatement.
