Successful Treatment of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME)

We successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of our microalgae technology in treating palm oil mill effluent (POME) to produce treated water that is highly suitable for processing through Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes. At a commercial scale, the revenue generated from the sale of microalgae would more than offset the CAPEX and OPEX costs of the RO membranes, while ensuring clean-treated water and reduced carbon emissions for the wastewater treatment at the Palm Oil Mill.
